Shaping the Future
WCF formed an Advisory Board in 2000 to assist in the expansion of activities, to oversee strategic planning and operating practices, and to inform WCF of future opportunities. The Advisory Board meets to provide direct consultation on these issues.
The Advisory Board consists of some of the Northwest's most important composers working in electronic and computer music, orchestral and chamber music, choral and vocal music, film, and multi-media. Many are also conductors, virtuosi soloists and improvisors, and are active as teachers, researchers, and administrators. They have taught at such institutions as Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, University of Washington, Central Washington University, The Evergreen State College, and Cornish College of the Arts.
